ThirdSpace Collaborative strengthens out-of-school time (OST) programs through dynamic statewide partnerships, hands-on learning, and tailored professional development. Together, we empower educators and communities to create lasting, impactful experiences for youth.

OUR APPROACH

Learning That Lasts

ThirdSpace Collaborative brings together stakeholders across South Dakota to elevate and expand OST programs. Building on the successes of established organizations like South Dakota School-Age Care Alliance (SoDakSACA) and the South Dakota Afterschool Network (SDAN), this innovative project is reshaping the OST landscape with a focus on long-term sustainability and measurable impact.

We empower schools and organizations to enhance their programs through customizable training in key areas such as STEAM, student and family engagement, and program evaluation. Together with our partners, we’re fostering collaboration and driving innovation to increase access to high-quality OST programs that inspire learning, growth, and success in communities statewide.
