Your Partner in Early Interventions
The South Dakota Birth to Three Early Intervention Program serves children from birth to 36 months with developmental delays or disabilities and their families.

Growing Together
Early intervention is a voluntary, family-focused service for children from birth to 36 months with developmental delays. We'll provide support and training to help families understand and address their child's needs. Services include coordination, special instruction, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech-language pathology.
Eligibility Guidelines
All children under 36 months are eligible for screening.
Additional services are based on the screening results and the family's wishes.
What To Expect

Coaching & Learning
The provider, guided by the IFSP team's child outcomes and family priorities, coaches you on strategies to support your child's learning. You can practice these strategies with the provider's support, ask questions, and receive suggestions for additional helpful resources. The provider will help you integrate these strategies into daily life with your child.

Focus & Follow-Up
Get Started
To enroll your child in the Birth to Three program, you can contact your local service coordinator using the service coordinator map or by calling 1-800-305-3064.
