Special Education

Empower Inclusive Classrooms

Every student deserves to be seen, supported, and set up for success. That starts with educators who feel prepared to meet them where they are. Our Special Education professional development programs give teachers, paraprofessionals, and administrators the tools, knowledge, and confidence to create classrooms where every learner can thrive.

Professional Development Topics

  • Strengthen the classroom experience by equipping paraprofessionals with the skills and knowledge they need to make a real difference. This toolkit provides a practical framework for differentiation and support, so every student gets the help they need from the people they trust the most.
  • Good IEPs go beyond compliance. They’re a roadmap for a student’s overall success. This training gives educators practical tips, strategies, and frameworks for writing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that are both legally sound and genuinely useful for the students they serve.
  • Understanding why a student behaves the way they do is the first step to getting them the help they need. This training walks educators through the FBA process. How to identify the purpose and function behind student behaviors and use that understanding to design effective, data-driven interventions.
  •  Consistent, school-wide responses to student behavior starts with a clear plan. This training helps educators develop comprehensive Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) that give everyone on staff the same protocol. This ensures students experience a unified, supportive response to behavior management.
  • Sensory processing differences can have a significant impact on how students learn and engage. We’ll help educators recognize sensory needs in the classroom and implement practical, inclusive strategies that create a more supportive environment for every learner.
  • Organization, planning, time management, and self-regulation skills don’t come naturally to every student. That doesn’t mean they can’t be taught and feel supported. Our team can help educators better understand how to enhance students’ executive function abilities through concrete strategies. Setting their students up for both academic and personal growth.
  •  This training equips educators with strategies for teaching students about daily living, communication, and social skills. These functional building blocks can better help students with disabilities navigate school and life with greater confidence and autonomy.
  • Effective Special Education programs don’t happen without strong leadership. Administrators can use this training to understand their role in supporting diverse learners, collaborating with staff and families, ensuring compliance, and building a school culture where inclusion is a value they believe in, not just a policy.
